This 9-day private Sri Lanka tour was amirasing from start to finish! The orgnisation by Travejar team was top-notch and our driver-guide was always on time. Loved the comfartable SUV and personalised attention throughout.
Absolutely memoriable journey! Private tour meant we never waited for others and enjoyed each stop fully. Hotels were comfertable and scenic, especially the hill-top resort in Nuwara Eliya. Highly recommend!
Very good experience overall, places like Yala and Kandy were excuisite. Only small issue was the hotel in Bentota where we slep a bit uneasily, but rest of the accomadation was fine. Guide knew local spots very well.
Nice private trip with Travejar, everything tailored to our pace. Food was ok ok in a few places but mostly tasty local curries. Only wish they’d given a bit more free time in Ella for solo exploring.
Tour had good moments like Sigiriya climb and tea factory visit, but felt a bit of hustle between cities. Some sight-seeing time was rushed and one hotel was noisy at night. Still decent value for money.
While 9 days in Sri Lanka can give you a glimpse of the country, it may not be enough to fully explore and experience everything it has to offer. With its rich cultural heritage, diverse landscapes, and beautiful beaches, there is much to see and do in Sri Lanka. However, if you prioritize your interests and plan your itinerary carefully, you can cover some of the main attractions such as the ancient cities of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the tea country in Nuwara Eliya, and the beaches in the south.
Sri Lanka can be an affordable destination for travelers on a budget, but it can also be expensive depending on your travel style and preferences. Accommodation, transportation, and food can be relatively inexpensive, but attractions and tours can add up quickly. Prices also vary depending on the season and location within the country. Overall, Sri Lanka offers a range of options for all budgets, from budget-friendly guesthouses to luxury hotels and high-end restaurants. With careful planning and research, travelers can enjoy a memorable and affordable trip to Sri Lanka.
The cheapest month to travel to Sri Lanka is typically during the off-season, which falls between May and August. During this time, you can expect lower prices on flights, accommodations, and activities. However, keep in mind that the weather during this period can be less predictable, with increased rainfall and higher humidity levels.
