Really nice 6-day trip by Travejar. Itinerary covered Colombo, Kandy and Bentota well. Only thing, accomodation in Kandy was a bit small. Guide was friendly and knowledgable. Overall worth the money.
Good value package for 6 days. Hotels were clean and breakfast spread was quite varried. Only delay was one morning pickup, but driver sorted quickly. Loved the boat ride on Koggala Lake.
Very smooth booking and transfers. Guide shared great insights about local culture. Hotels in Colombo and Nuwara Eliya were exellent, Bentota one was just ok. Overall a memorable trip with minor hiccups.
Tour was ok but felt slightly rushed. We travelled long distances on day 3, so by evening everyone was tired. Food in some hotels was average. Still, seeing tea gardens and Sigiriya was amazing.
Enjoyed beaches at Bentota, but accomodation there was below my expectation. Day tour in Kandy was very informative though. Transportation felt cramped in SUV at times. 3-star for budget travellers.
While six days may not be enough time to see everything that Sri Lanka has to offer, it is still possible to cover some of the major tourist attractions and experience the beauty and culture of the country. Visitors can explore ancient ruins, enjoy the beaches, and take in the breathtaking views of the highlands. It is important to plan the itinerary carefully to make the most of the limited time available. A well-planned 6-day tour of Sri Lanka can be a memorable and enjoyable experience for travelers.
On average, a 5 Nights 6 Days Sri Lanka tour package can cost around $500 to $1,000 per person, excluding airfare. This cost can increase or decrease depending on the level of luxury and customization desired. Additionally, costs can be lowered by opting for budget accommodation, local transportation, and choosing off-season travel dates.
There are many great Sri Lanka tour packages available, depending on your interests and preferences. Some popular options include the 5 Nights 6 Days Sri Lanka Tour Package, which includes visits to popular tourist destinations like Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, and Bentota. Other options include wildlife and nature-focused tours, cultural tours, and adventure tours.
Sri Lanka is a compact island nation, and most of the popular tourist destinations can be covered within a week. A 5 nights 6 days tour package is usually sufficient to explore the major attractions of the country. However, if you have more time, you can extend your trip to visit some of the lesser-known destinations or spend more time relaxing on the beaches. It's important to note that Sri Lanka is a diverse country with a lot to offer, so the amount of time you spend there depends on your personal interests and preferences.
While the duration of a trip to Sri Lanka ultimately depends on personal preferences, interests, and budget, a 5 Nights 6 Days Sri Lanka Tour package is a good amount of time to explore some of the country's key destinations. This itinerary typically covers the cultural triangle of Sigiriya, Dambulla, and Kandy, as well as the beautiful hill country of Nuwara Eliya and the coastal city of Bentota. However, those with more time and interest can certainly extend their stay to explore other parts of the country, such as the beaches in the south or the wildlife reserves in the north.
A good amount of time to explore Sri Lanka would be around 5 to 7 days. This would give you enough time to visit some of the country's major attractions such as the ancient cities of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa, the hill country of Ella, the beautiful beaches of Mirissa and Galle, and the cultural city of Kandy. You can also enjoy some outdoor activities such as hiking, wildlife safaris, and tea plantation tours. However, if you want to explore more of the country or take things at a slower pace, you can plan for a longer stay.
The best area to stay in Sri Lanka depends on your preferences and the purpose of your visit. If you're looking for beautiful beaches and water activities, then the southern coast is a great option with popular towns such as Mirissa and Unawatuna. For exploring cultural and historical sites, the cultural triangle in the central region is a must-visit, with cities such as Kandy, Anuradhapura, and Sigiriya. If you're a nature lover, then the hill country region, including towns like Ella and Nuwara Eliya, offers scenic beauty and outdoor activities.
