Had a fantabulous time on the 4-night Sri Lanka tour! Beaches at Bentota were superbe and the Kandy temple tour was very enlightning. Our driver was so polite and guide was full of local knoledge. Accomadation was cosy and food was helecious!
This 5-day Sri Lanka tour was simply delightful! From Colombo city to the scenic hill station, every spot was picture-perfect. The coral beach at Hikkaduwa was a highlight. Travejar’s service was top-class and felt like family. Highly reccommend!
Overall good experience with Travejar. The itinerary covered the major highlights, Sigiriya rock, tea gardens and Galle Fort looked so beutiful. Only thing was a slight delay in hotel pickup on Day 3, but guide managed it well. Worth every penny.
Very well organised trip by Travejar, transport was always on time and driver-guide was very helpfull. Loved the tea factory visit, and luggage handling was smooth. Could improve breakfast variety at the hotel. Would recomend to frnds!
Tour was nice but felt a bit rushed. Travel between destinations took longer than expected and we missed some free time. Hotel in Kandy was average, room service was slow. Still, good for short break and value for money.
Tour was decent but felt bit rushed. We covered Kandy and Bentota but not enough time to explore properly. Hotel in Colombo was nice, but breakfast was not upto mark. Guide was polite but not very informative. Good for short trip but not very relaxing.
While it is possible to see some of Sri Lanka's top attractions in 5 days, it may not be enough to experience the country fully. Visitors can use this time to explore a few key locations such as Colombo, Kandy, and Nuwara Eliya, and even visit some of the national parks. However, with more time, visitors can also visit the south coast and experience the beaches, cultural sites, and wildlife reserves. It is recommended to spend at least 7-10 days to have a more complete and fulfilling experience of Sri Lanka.
For a 5-day trip to Sri Lanka, some of the must-visit places include the cultural triangle of Sigiriya, Dambulla, and Kandy, where you can witness ancient temples, fortresses, and stunning natural beauty. You can also head towards the southern coast to explore the beaches of Mirissa or Unawatuna, where you can enjoy water sports or simply relax by the beach. In addition, visiting the Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a must-see. You can also visit Nuwara Eliya, known for its tea plantations and scenic views.
On average, a 4-night 5-day Sri Lanka tour package can cost around $400-$800 per person, including accommodation, transportation, meals, and some sightseeing activities. However, the cost can increase or decrease based on your preferences and choices.
Yes, Sri Lanka can be considered a relatively cheap holiday destination when compared to other popular tourist destinations. Accommodation, food, and transportation costs in Sri Lanka are generally lower than in many other countries. Additionally, there are many free or low-cost activities and attractions to enjoy, such as hiking, visiting temples, and exploring national parks.
The ideal duration for a Sri Lanka trip can vary based on your interests and priorities. However, a minimum of 5-7 days is recommended to explore the major tourist destinations and get a taste of Sri Lanka's culture, food, and natural beauty. Within 5 days, you can cover destinations like Colombo, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, and Bentota. For a more relaxed pace, 7-10 days would be ideal to explore lesser-known destinations like Mirissa, Galle, and Ella. If you have specific interests like wildlife or hiking, you may need additional days.
