Topkapi Palace

The best time to visit Topaki Palace is between March and May, or between September and November. Because it is not peak season, accommodations are still reasonably priced, and the weather is lovely. Avoid visiting in late May and June since it is peak season, the weather is hot, and accommodation costs are soaring. Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays and has a huge line on weekends, so it is recommended to visit between Monday and Thursday mornings. Because the Blue Mosque opens at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, there is a sizable throng even on Friday morning.
 

One of the best things to do in Turkey is to explore the Topkapi Palace. The Topkapi Palace Turkey has four big courtyards and a few smaller ones, each with its unique set of architecture and specialties that draw travelers from all over the world.

1. The first courtyard is the one nearest to the sea, and most of the structures in it are no longer standing. The Imperial Mint and the Church of Hagia Irene are two examples. This courtyard was also known as the "Parade Court" since all of the janissaries dressed up and patrolled there in bright clothing. The "Middle Gate" connects the first courtyard to the second.
2. The second courtyard is significant because it is where the Sultan met with his top-level courtiers. The Sultan sat on the golden Bayram Throne in this location to hear his council.
3. The third courtyard houses the palace's most prominent mosque, the Mosque of the Agas. It also holds the hallowed Privy Chamber, which contains Muhammed's garment and a hair from his beard.
4. The fourth courtyard, also known as the "Inner Sofa," is the most secluded portion of the palace, where the Sultan and his entire family lived. It features kiosks and gardens all over the place.
5. The Sultan's mother, wives, concubines, and children lived in the harem, which is a large edifice with 400 rooms. It is divided into several portions that are linked together by galleries and tunnels.
