On Day 2, after having breakfast at the hotel you will head for your Full day city tour of Izmir. The majestic castle remains of Kadifekale Castle, commonly known as the Velvet Castle. The castle was primarily constructed to stave off the Persian invasion when it was built on the hill of Kadifikale, which bears its name. The Archaeological Museum of Izmir is home to a large collection of carefully chosen Greek and Roman artworks, the majority of which are statues of mythical deities. The elaborate sarcophagus in the underground pavilion is noteworthy. In 178, an earthquake in the park completely destroyed the old market in Agra that Alexander the Great had constructed. However, Marcus Aurelius, the Roman Emperor, later reconstructed it. You may imagine what a Roman agora looked like a thousand years ago thanks to Corinthian colonnades, domed halls, and converted arches.

In 1901, this clocktower is constructed by Sultan Abdul Hamit II and it is close to the beautiful Aegean Sea. Turkey's Aegean Sea coast is home to the lovely city of Izmir. The Mediterranean Sea is connected to the picturesque Aegean Sea, which is situated in western Turkey. Olive groves, imposing rock formations, and beaches encircled by pine woods can all be found along Izmir's extensive coastline.
