Izmir is a fascinating combination of modernity and history that has many traditions and cultures of past times. Izmir is an increasingly popular holiday destination bubbling with youthful vigor and brimming with different cultures. Izmir is the city to visit if you’re looking to simply soak up some sun and ancient history to gain knowledge. Itinerary

Day 1- Arrival at the Izmir International Airport

On Day 1 you will be welcomed at the Izmir International Airport by our executive and then transferred to your pre-booked hotel. The remaining day will be at your leisure where you can explore on your own. 

Day 2- Explore the Izmir Castle, Izmir Archaeology Museum, and Izmir Agora

On Day 2, after having breakfast at the hotel you will head for your Full day city tour of Izmir. The majestic castle remains of Kadifekale Castle, commonly known as the Velvet Castle. The castle was primarily constructed to stave off the Persian invasion when it was built on the hill of Kadifikale, which bears its name. The Archaeological Museum of Izmir is home to a large collection of carefully chosen Greek and Roman artworks, the majority of which are statues of mythical deities. The elaborate sarcophagus in the underground pavilion is noteworthy. In 178, an earthquake in the park completely destroyed the old market in Agra that Alexander the Great had constructed. However, Marcus Aurelius, the Roman Emperor, later reconstructed it. You may imagine what a Roman agora looked like a thousand years ago thanks to Corinthian colonnades, domed halls, and converted arches.

Day 3- Visit the Ataturk Monument, Saat Kulesi, and Aegean Coast

On day 3, after having breakfast at your hotel you will head for a tourist attraction visit to Izmir city. In the western coastal region of Izmir city, Republic Square is situated, and at the center stands the magnificent Ataturk Monument. To commemorate the liberation of Izmir by Turkey, the statue was erected in 1933. On Kunak Square, Saat Kulesi Clock Tower is located in the center of Izmir. In 1901, this clocktower is constructed by Sultan Abdul Hamit II and it is close to the beautiful Aegean Sea. Turkey's Aegean Sea coast is home to the lovely city of Izmir. The Mediterranean Sea is connected to the picturesque Aegean Sea, which is situated in western Turkey. Olive groves, imposing rock formations, and beaches encircled by pine woods can all be found along Izmir's extensive coastline.

Day 4- Departure from the hotel to Istanbul Airport

Eat your morning breakfast and get ready for your departure from the hotel to the Istanbul Airport. Your 03 Nights / 04 Days Izmir City Break tour ends here.
