The Stadium originates from the reign of Nero and is located about 100 meters south of the Gymnasium of Vedius. The layers of spectator seating were hewn out of the slope on the south side.
  • The 260-meter-long ruins known as the Church of the Virgin Mary, Double Church, or Council Church are located about 100 meters west of the Gymnasium of Vedius, to the right of the car park. It began as a research and teaching facility.
  • The construction of the Great Theater of Ephesus began during Claudius' reign and was finished during Trajan's reign. It is especially stunning because of its large size and the perfect condition of the orchestra and cavea. The cavea of the theatre is made up of three by 22 layers of seating, split into parts by 12 stairways, and can hold up to 25,000 people.
  • Austrian archaeologists reconstructed the majestic two-story front of the Library of Celsus, with its relatively packed columns and conspicuous cornices, in the 1970s. The library was once three floors tall and fully covered in colorful marble. A series of rectangular niches along the back wall held parchment volumes and scrolls. A grave chamber under the central niche houses the Sarcophagus of Titus Julius Celsus Polemaeanus, Governor of Asia, in whose honor his son erected the library in the early 2nd century CE.
