FAQs About Treasure Land Georgia Tour 11 Nights 12

heading title

The length of a Georgia trip depends on the specific interests and itinerary of the traveler. However, a week-long trip (7-10 days) would be sufficient to explore some of Georgia's major attractions such as Tbilisi, Mtskheta, the wine region of Kakheti, and the mountainous region of Svaneti. Additional time could be added to visit other regions such as Batumi on the Black Sea coast or the cave city of Vardzia. With a week-long trip, travelers can experience Georgia's rich history, culture, food, and natural beauty without feeling rushed.

A general estimate for a 12 day tour of Georgia with a reputable tour operator could range from $1000 to $1500 USD per person, depending on the inclusions and exclusions of the package, such as accommodation, transportation, meals, and activities.

It depends on the nationality of the tourist and the length of their intended stay. Citizens of certain countries like all EU nations, Canada, Chile, India, Japan, and so on are allowed to enter and stay in Georgia visa-free for a period of up to one year. Other nationalities may be eligible for an e-visa or need to obtain a visa through the Georgian embassy or consulate in their home country.

The best time to visit Georgia is during the months of May to October. During this time, the weather is pleasant and warm, making it ideal for outdoor activities and sightseeing. The peak tourist season in Georgia is from July to August, so travelers looking for a more peaceful experience may prefer to visit during the shoulder season of May to June or September to October. However, if you are interested in winter sports or want to experience the festive atmosphere of Christmas and New Year, then visiting during the winter months of December to February can also be a good option.

Georgia offers various adventure activities for adrenaline seekers, including whitewater rafting, paragliding, mountain climbing, hiking, and skiing. The country's stunning natural landscapes provide excellent opportunities for outdoor activities, such as trekking in the Caucasus Mountains, skiing in the ski resorts of Gudauri and Bakuriani, and exploring the caves of Vardzia. For water lovers, the rivers of Tskhenistskali, Mtkvari, and Aragvi offer exciting whitewater rafting experiences. Paragliding is also available in various locations, including Kazbegi, Gudauri, and Tbilisi, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and mountains.
