Day 1 Arrival at Tbilisi (Georgia)

After seeing the historic Batonis Tsikhe castle, continue on to the nearby town of Tsinandali and the Shumi Winery. The winery, located in the heart of Georgia's wine country, has a museum dedicated to the history of winemaking in Georgia. Wine sampling after your museum tour. Visit the Georgian dukes' home, Tsinandali, and taste some of their white wine on the house. The estate also has a museum and wine cellar. It's time to get back to Telavi for the night.

Day 3 Telavi – Gremi – Kvareli – Sighnaghi (approx. 1 hr) – Bodbe – Tbilisi (approx. 2hrs)

Get ready to leave the hotel after breakfast and go to the Kakheti area and the Alazani Valley. The day will begin with a visit to the Gremi Architectural Complex, a palace and the capital of the Kakheti Kingdom in the 16th century. The next stop is the Winery Khareba, whose cellar is housed in a natural rock tunnel. Keep on until you reach Sighnaghi, the "City of Love '' guarded by 23 turrets. Take your time wandering the city's lovely architecture and cobblestone streets. Visit the Bodbe Monastery on the way back to Tbilisi before checking into your hotel for the night.

Day 4 Tbilisi – Mtskheta (approx. 40 mins) – Kazbegi (approx. 2 hr)– Gudauri (approx. 50 mins)

Visit Mtskheta, Georgia's cultural and religious epicenter and one of the country's oldest towns, after breakfast. The Svetitskhoveli Cathedral is the most important religious building in Mtskheta, and the nearby Jvari Monastery is an architectural marvel. Enjoy some of the finest khinkali (boiled dumplings) in all of Georgia at a stop in Pasanauri. Get yourself to Kazbegi, a little village with picture-perfect views of Mount Kazbek. Before heading to the Gergeti Holy Trinity Church, make a pit stop at the hilltop's farms mineral spring. A night in Gudauri caps off the day.

Day 5 Gudauri – Ananuri (approx. 1 hr) - Gori (approx. 1 hr 20 mins) – Borjomi (1 hr 20 mins)

The ski resort town of Gudauri in the Caucasus Mountains, where Day 5 begins with a revitalizing breakfast. The next stop on the trip is the Ananuri complex, which was formerly home to the Argveti Dukes. The complex consists of two churches, a watchtower, and a fortification, all of which are set on a hill overlooking the Aragvi River.

The group then continues to the Nebi Winery in the nearby town of Chardakhi for a wine sampling after touring Ananuri. The vineyards and the distant Caucasus Mountains provide a picture-perfect setting for the winery.

Borjomi, a resort town in central Georgia famous for its mineral springs and natural beauty, is the last stop on the itinerary. Before resuming the journey on Day 6, guests may rest well at a hotel in Borjomi.

The sixth day begins with breakfast at the Borjomi Hotel, before a trip to Vardzia, a spectacular cave and monastery complex from the 12th century. Vardzia, in southern Georgia, is a city with approximately 600 rooms, a chapel, a bakery, and a wine cellar cut into the side of a cliff.

Visit the Rabat Fortress in Akhaltsikhe, a small city in southern Georgia that is home to a mosque, a church, a synagogue, a museum, and a beautiful park, after you've seen the sights in Vardzia. The trip then returns to Tbilisi for another night.

Day 7 Departure from Tbilisi

The last morning in Tbilisi begins with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, followed by checkout and a ride to the airport.
