Day 1 Arrival at Muscat

When you first arrive in the beautiful city of Muscat, you'll be whisked away to your hotel to begin your exciting journey. Evenings are perfect for strolling along the Muttrah Corniche, a beautiful waterfront promenade with breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. You will also get to see the Royal Opera House (Photo stop), an architectural marvel and cultural icon in its own right.

Day 2 Muscat – Ibra – Al Mudhreib – Wahiba Sands

Starting with a picturesque drive to the ancient town of Ibra, your exciting excursion into the interior of Oman will begin after breakfast. Learn about the historical and cultural importance of Ibra by seeing the remnants of the town's mud-brick homes. Admire the old-world buildings and winding streets that recall another age. Your next stop should be the scenic town of Al Mudhreib, which may be found in the midst of the rough Hajar Mountains. Spend time with welcoming locals and get insight into the culture and customs of the area. Start your car and go towards the breathtaking Wahiba Sands, a large desert with sand dunes that go on forever. Experience the majesty of a sunset over the sand dunes and be awed by the splendor of nature. As night falls, go to a desert camp to have a delicious traditional Omani meal while taking in some live music and dancing performed by locals and experiencing the genuine friendliness of the Omani people. Spending the night in your desert camp, beneath the blanket of stars, is an experience that will stay with you forever.

Day 3 Wahiba Sands – Wadi Bani Khalid – Ras Al Hadd

The dawn over the Wahiba Sands is a mystifying sight, so be sure to get up early to see it. Wadi Bani Khalid is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the Hajar Mountains; after breakfast, you may say goodbye to the desert and continue on your adventure there. Wander over the rocky landscape and discover the lovely green wadi filled with date palm palms. Spend some time in Wadi Bani Khalid, where you can unwind, take in the beautiful scenery, and get some great shots for your social media accounts. Keep driving to the gorgeous coastal village of Ras Al Hadd, noted for its beautiful beaches and diverse marine life. Take an exciting nighttime trip to one of the most important green turtle breeding areas in the Indian Ocean at Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve. Subject to local rules and turtle nesting season, you may see these wonderful animals as they come ashore to lay their eggs or see young turtles hatching and making their journey to the sea. Hear from knowledgeable guides about the intriguing world of turtles and the conservation efforts being made to safeguard these endangered creatures. After your amazing meeting with the turtles, go back to your accommodation in Ras Al Hadd for the night.

Day 4 Ras Al Hadd – Sur – Bimmah Sinkhole - Muscat

Say your goodbyes to Ras Al Hadd in the morning and take a drive down the coast to Sur, a historic port town with a rich history in shipbuilding. Travel further to the seaside and spend some time unwinding at Fins Beach, where you can lounge on the soft beach, cool off in the blue ocean, and take in the stunning vistas. Continue your journey to the stunning Bimmah Sinkhole, a collapsed limestone cavern filled with water of a vivid blue hue and surrounded by verdant flora. Relax in the tranquil setting by taking a swim in the sinkhole's soothing waters or just gazing at its fascinating geological features. The next step is to return to Muscat, Oman's capital, and return to your accommodation. The rest of the day is on your own, so feel free to rest, continue seeing Muscat, or go shopping for mementos.

Day 5 Departure from Muscat

On this day, stunning architecture awaits you at the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the first stop on a fascinating city tour of Muscat. Discover Oman's fascinating history at the Bait Al Zubair Museum, where you can peruse displays of traditional clothing, weapons, and everyday wares. Muttrah Souq is another option; it is a traditional market selling a wide range of local goods like spices, fabrics, and handicrafts.

Take the charm of Oman's scenery and cultural riches with you as you're transferred to the airport for your continuing adventure or departing aircraft.
