Stone Mountain Park Sightseeing Tour is one of the famous tourist spots situated in Stone Mountain, Georgia, on the outskirts of Atlanta city. This park is named after a huge dome-shaped granite mountain, which is the largest exposed granite dome in North America and its height is 825 feet tall. The park is spread over an area of 3,000 acres and houses multiple attractions, activities, and events, making it a great place for family outings, outdoor enthusiasts, etc.

Stone Mountain Park’s history dates back to the early 19th century when the area was used for quarrying granite. At the beginning of the 20th century, the mountain became a famous tourist spot and the scenic railroad was developed. Presently the park offers a variety of activities and attractions, including hiking trails, a golf course, a ropes course, a Skyride to the top of the mountain, and the popular Laser show that takes place in the evening and features a beautiful display of lights, music, and fireworks.  

This park also houses multiple historic sites and also displays the memorial carving of a massive relief sculpture on the side of the mountain displaying the Decorated leaders Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee, and Stonewall Jackson. The park also organizes a number of events throughout the year, including festivals, concerts, and holiday celebrations. 

About the activity

• The stone mountain park entrance fee is divided into 4 sections, one is general where the price is $35 + tax for children and $40 for adults, and the Attractions tickets include one-day access to park attractions and live entertainment. 
• The second is Attraction Tickets + Meal, which includes one day access to the park attractions, seasonal live entertainments, plus meals and non-alcoholic drinks and it costs $ 40 for children and $45 for Adults. 
• The third option is the Attractions Ticket + VIP Access, which grants the holder admission to the park for a single day, as well as priority access to some attractions and a souvenir bottle, as well as live seasonal entertainment. 
• The last one is the Historic Attractions Ticket $25 + tax, the ticket is valid only on the weekend and it provides one-day access to Summit Skyride, Discovering Stone Mountain Museum, and Historic Square. 
• The Stone Mountain Summit is the highest point in the park and provides an amazing view of the surroundings. Visitors can also take a Skyride to the top, or hike up the mountain on the various trails available. 
• The railroad at Stone Mountain Park takes visitors on a scenic tour around the park. The train ride lasts about 25 to 30 minutes and offers great views of the stone mountain park attractions. 
• The Antebellum Plantation and Farmland is a historic site that features a collection of buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries.
• The laser show is a spectacular night event that combines lasers and lights, and music to create stunning displays. The show goes on for 45 minutes.
