It is advised to visit the Dubai museum in the morning or early afternoon. This is when the museum will be less crowded.  At weekends (Friday and Saturday), even fewer locals will be visiting than on weekdays (Sunday to Thursday), so consider visiting on these days if you're planning on sightseeing. Also, during lunch time the museum becomes busier.
